There's a certain joy that comes with elopements - There's a certain joy that comes with elopements - it's that feeling of nothing else matters in this moment, except you two and your love.

No one is watching, no one is listening.

You're just being yourselves, together, and a day of celebration. It may look different for everyone, but an elopement day is filled with must purest joy ✨

Within that joy, I think there's also a peace.

The quietness the wilderness offers, the safe space, the literal stress or anxiety that leaves our bodies when we are surrounded by nature, and the increase of capacity for attention and creativity.

You're at peace because you're doing something that aligns with your values, that's connecting you and your partner.

You're not in a rush, you're being in your truest form.

Eloping feels like being in a totally different world than what is found in the traditional wedding realm.

Of course, the couples are getting married, but everything else about it is different.

It's not a show, it's a real, deep, raw, vulnerable, joyful + peaceful experience. ✨🌿

It’s rare to find space to hold these type of moments.

I am forever thankful to be a space holder as your elopement photographer.
🍂 First official elopement of the Fall season 🍂

Imagine hiking under the lush rainforest forest with orange leaves below your feet as you walk into your first look. Holding hands and soaking in the start of your elopement day by a waterfall.

Driving up the mountain hiking under the crisp fall sun surrounded by red heather. Stopping to sit by a lake to do a crossword puzzle you each made for the other - a yearly tradition.

Arriving to the ridge line between two massive glaciated mountains to share your hand written vows - becoming husband and wife.

Dancing freely to the sound of a song that makes you feel close, in just the presence of the pica's squeaks of congratulations!

Admiring the golden back light shining through the evergreens, making Mt Baker glow, then sitting to watch Mt Shuksan turn purple and pink in the alpine glow.

Hiking under the stars until your reach the parking lot where you get a full glimpse of the milky way.

Fall truly feels like such a romantic time to get married out in the wilderness 🥹

A wedding in the desert with everyone you love—t A wedding in the desert with everyone you love—the laughter, the toasts, the dance floor moments you’ll never forget. ✨

An adventure elopement with just the two of you—the quiet space to breathe in the scenery, speak your vows aloud, and begin your marriage focused on your story. 🤍

Both hold so much meaning.

One celebrates your community, the other honors your connection.

And when you choose both, you’re giving yourselves the chance to fully celebrate in two ways: surrounded by love, and grounded in the promises you’ve made to each other.

Because at the heart of it all, a marriage deserves not just a wedding, but a beginning that feels like you and grounds your future together.

We loveeeee @theredearthvenue nestled in the canyons of Moab where you can easily combine these two separate celebrations and make memories for a lifetime with your partner + your loved ones. ✨🙌🏻
